Who you are

• Deliver technical and application support to customers in EMEA
• Strong understanding of optical testing in production and laboratory environments
• Provide product and technology presentations at local events
• Self-motivation in penetrating sales opportunities and accounts
• Deliver test and reporting methods to customers
• Liaise with customers on trials and implementations
• Optimize product positioning to capture sales
• Provide customer feedback to Business Unit to increase innovation
• Share experiences and best practices with team
• Transfer knowledge to Sales and Channel Partners
• Measure progress and define recovery actions
• Drive sales growth for FOPLT portfolio in EMEA region
• Travel up to 50% across EMEA

What the job involves

• The Solution Engineer will support and enable sales in EMEA for VIAVI Fiber Optic Production and Lab Test portfolio
• Work closely with Sales team and Channel Partners
• Responsible for technical demonstrations and presentations at customer events and VIAVI events
• Accountable for product bookings in EMEA region
• Introduce, implement, and follow up on FOPLT portfolio
• Proactively drive issue resolution with EMEA Solutions Engineer Team and Sales
