Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Five years of experience in programming and systems design with 3 years of recent experience supporting Workday Integrations, Workday Extend, APIs, and reporting
  • Knowledge in at least one object-oriented language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
  • Expert knowledge of API concepts (SOAP & REST), XML, XSLT 3.0, JSON, oAuth 2.0, encryption
  • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs for data integrations
  • Proven experience with Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, Report as a Service, WQL, WWS, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining custom applications using Workday Extend platform
  • Experience with application security including API security models, network security, database, and credentials storage encryption
  • Experience analyzing complex system-wide technical specifications, debugging applications programs, and producing effective user and technical documentation

Nice to have

  • Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable Workday integrations
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Workday Financials and Workday Strategic Sourcing
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies and processes, Scrum and Kanban

Day to day

  • Develop and provide production support for Workday integrations, Workday reporting and Workday Extend
  • Participate in all aspects of software development life cycle for Workday implementations
  • Review and analyze business requirements for projects of varying complexity and impact
  • Assist technical support staff and users by diagnosing complex problems and implementing solutions
  • Document system designs, development processes, and integration specifications
  • Lead design and implementation of Workday Extend applications and custom development projects
  • Act as subject matter expert on Workday integration tools
