Requirements
- 5+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience
- Extensive experience with Python FastAPI Postgres AWS Docker Kubernetes and Terraform
- In-depth knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and associated services
- Proven experience leading the architecture development and delivery of backend services and APIs
- Ability to own technical problems end to end
- Strong communication skills with end users and cross functional teams
- Self directed learner who adapts quickly in a fast paced environment

Day to day
- Build and evolve modern backend services for mission planning and command and control systems supporting space communications programs.
- Design resilient APIs and platform capabilities with a strong focus on automation testing security and performance.
- Collaborate with customers partners and junior engineers to integrate services solve complex satellite communications challenges and improve platform quality.
