Requirements
- 3-5+ years building and shipping embedded systems using Linux
- Proficiency in Linux kernel customization device driver design and development
- Experience with Yocto Buildroot or Open Embedded
- Experience with performance optimization and kernel-level troubleshooting
- Experience with ARM Cortex-A or X86 architectures and SoCs
- Experience with Linux kernel or similar OS kernel development
- Proven root-cause investigation of OS hypervisor or hardware driver bugs
- Proficiency in C programming language
- Proficiency with Git at a command line level
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet schedules
- Experience leading software projects and unblocking supporting teams
- Must be a US citizen or US person
- Deep knowledge in new Linux kernel driver development or OS core kernel development

Day to day
- Work within the professional services division across diverse technologies including Lynx products customer requirements and open source software.
- Act as an embedded Linux expert covering kernel CPU architecture security device drivers and performance optimization while enabling customer engineering teams.
- Design develop refactor and debug real-time software architectures modular components and complex low-level hardware-software interactions.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams provide technical proposals support lifecycle decisions and ensure high-quality deliverables on schedule.
