Requirements
- 6+ years of work experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Software or related field
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle architecture implementation and testing
- Proficient in C/C++ programming
- Experience with software device drivers preferably for communication devices like Ethernet
- Deep understanding of operating systems kernel and device drivers preferably Linux QNX or RTOS
- Experience integrating and testing with operating system device driver interfaces
- Hands-on experience with hardware preferably communication devices
- Experience with firmware for communication devices like Ethernet
- Experience integrating and testing firmware and low-level code
- Hands-on experience with embedded processors and hardware
- Expertise in efficient code practices for footprint and performance
Nice to have
- Python knowledge
- AUTOSAR familiarity
- MISRA awareness
- ASPICE awareness
- ISO26262 awareness
- Perforce or Git experience
- Yocto familiarity
- Strong debugging skills
- Detail oriented
- Collaborative
Day to day
- Develop embedded firmware and kernel/user-mode device drivers for networking devices
- Build stack extensions debug tools test utilities and automated unit/system tests
- Integrate drivers and firmware with Linux and AUTOSAR communication stacks for safety-critical automotive systems
