Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred equivalent experience accepted
  • Coding proficiency in a high-level programming language C# preferred Java Objective-C C# C/C++ Python
  • SQL proficiency for story/bug verification functional test automation
  • 4+ years relevant work experience preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing feature analysis/test planning/ test case authoring black box/grey box test execution defect reporting
  • 2+ years of test automation experience for a web-based product and APIs
  • 2+ years in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins / GitHub Actions
  • Experience working with front-end testing tools and approaches preferred
  • Experience working with database/back-end testing tools and approaches preferred
  • Experience in health IT preferred

Day to day

  • Perform exploratory functional regression testing of Web applications performing root cause analysis on defects producing clear concise bug reports
  • Participate cross-functionally in Agile development cycles including requirements analysis requirements-based test planning development
  • Work with other engineers customer-facing support teams to identify log root-cause triage prioritize drive resolution of defects
  • Write code in a C#-based test framework to develop automation for REST web services
