Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform Kubernetes EKS Helm Docker Python and Bash
- Experience with AWS services including Step Functions Lambda EventBridge GuardDuty Macie IAM Organizations and QuickSight
- Experience with policy-as-code tools and IaC security scanning including OPA Guardrails and SCPs
- Hands-on administration of Splunk Enterprise Security including log onboarding correlation search tuning and automated responses
- Hands-on Splunk SOAR playbook development and automation
- Experience with Okta Identity Engine SSO SAML and OIDC
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience designing automation solutions that reduce MTTD and MTTR
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles compliance frameworks and secure infrastructure design

Day to day
- Design and maintain automated security frameworks that streamline cloud operations and strengthen defensive controls across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Build and optimize infrastructure-as-code, event-driven workflows, and security tooling using Terraform, Python, Bash, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, and Kubernetes.
- Own integrations across Splunk Enterprise Security, Splunk SOAR, and Okta Identity Engine to improve detection, response, identity governance, and security visibility.
