Requirements
- 5+ years in security engineering or cloud operations with ownership of complex assessments from scoping through remediation
- Practical experience with cloud security fundamentals in AWS GCP or Azure including IAM networking and misconfigurations
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python Bash or JavaScript
- Experience with dependency and container vulnerability scanning tools integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of SOC 2 ISO 27001 PCI-DSS and FedRAMP evidence requirements
- Critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills for explaining why vulnerabilities exist
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for remediation guidance and stakeholder context
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience

Day to day
- Design and implement multi-cloud security controls across cloud environments with a focus on guardrails and automation
- Harden containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters by applying scanning admission control network policies and runtime detection
- Analyze vulnerabilities and incident signals deeply to identify root cause validate remediation and support audit evidence
