Requirements
- Strong recent experience shipping production software as a hands-on engineer
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript JavaScript Node.js Express and React
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL SQL REST APIs asynchronous programming testing debugging and observability
- Experience modernizing legacy systems incrementally while keeping a live product running
- Comfort building integrations and data sync with correctness idempotency and conflict handling
- Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing scalability reliability maintainability and speed
- Experience serving as a senior technical engineer or technical lead on a team
- Ability to take ambiguous problems from approach to implementation and delivery
- Strong ownership mindset for quality reliability and long-term health
- Hands-on fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot
- Experience using AI meaningfully in coding debugging research code analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation to improve workflows and raise quality
- Track record of mentoring engineers and raising technical capability
- Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly with Engineering Product QA and other partners

Day to day
- Own the technical outcomes for a delivery team and help ensure shipped software is reliable maintainable and secure

- Mentor engineers improve engineering practices and use AI driven tooling and automation to increase team leverage and delivery speed
