Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 8+ years programming experience
  • Core competencies in SQL Server, T-SQL, ASP, ASP.net (VB and/or C#), XML
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Experience programming in a large-scale transaction processing system is a plus
  • Knowledge of security-related best practices for web application development is a plus
  • Possess valid papers and be available for occasional travel (10%) possibly on short notice and to foreign locations

Day to day

  • Design, code and debug source code in one or more components of a lottery system
  • Contribute to the gathering of requirements for proposed system modifications
  • Participate in code reviews as needed
  • Help create and maintain project-related documentation for internal and third-party audits
  • Participate in the 24/7 support of production lottery systems
