Who you are
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 8+ years programming experience
- Core competencies in SQL Server, T-SQL, ASP, ASP.net (VB and/or C#), XML
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience programming in a large-scale transaction processing system is a plus
- Knowledge of security-related best practices for web application development is a plus
- Possess valid papers and be available for occasional travel (10%) possibly on short notice and to foreign locations
What the job involves
- Design, code and debug source code in one or more components of a lottery system
- Contribute to the gathering of requirements for proposed system modifications
- Participate in code reviews as needed
- Help create and maintain project-related documentation for internal and third-party audits
- Participate in the 24/7 support of production lottery systems
