Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience ideally in TypeScript
  • Structural or mechanical engineering experience academic or professional
  • Familiarity with computational geometry and mathematical modeling

  • Clear ownership of correctness and maintainability of code
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity on a new and emerging team

Day to day

  • Design and implement algorithms and systems for framing and structural analysis from prototypes to MVP.
  • Work closely with product customer success and engineering to define behavior surface gaps and improve customer outcomes.
  • Apply structural engineering judgment to translate real-world framing systems into robust maintainable software.
  • Write strong tests to handle edge cases and help shape technical direction on an emerging team.
