Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with time in developer tooling platform engineering or developer productivity
- Deep familiarity with TypeScript/Node and Python ecosystems including package management build tooling and common failure points
- Experience with monorepo tooling such as Nx and strategies for making large codebases fast to work with
- Hands-on experience designing configuring and improving devcontainer-based development environments
- Practical experience evaluating and integrating AI development tools with attention to standards and guardrails
- Strong listening communication and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and incorporate feedback

Day to day
- Lead the evolution of AI Developer Experience so engineers can safely and effectively use AI across the software development lifecycle
- Drive evaluation, adoption, and governance of AI development tools and agentic workflows with a focus on practical, secure, and measurable outcomes
- Improve developer productivity across TypeScript/Node and Python codebases by speeding up builds, hooks, linting, type checks, conformance checks, and Nx orchestration
- Own devcontainer strategy, local and cloud-based, to deliver a secure, consistent, and reproducible development environment
- Maintain local testing frameworks and shared internal libraries while contributing to CI/CD, onboarding, documentation, and observability
