Staff Engineer (Media)
Are you a tech-savvy leader with a passion for ad-tech?
We’re looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to spearhead our new Media Placement team. Your focus will be to integrate an Ad Tech partner into our tech stack. You will be creating exciting opportunities for our trades to connect with consumers through targeted ads. At Checkatrade, we are committed to empowering trades to unite with homeowners and grow their customer base, this will help us generate revenue and open the door to new opportunities.
Location: Hybrid working applies. Kings Cross, London or Portsmouth, Lakeside. We will consider remote working for this role.
Where do you fit in? In this role you’ll work closely with the likes of our Product, Engineering and Commercial teams to drive two business initiatives. Collaboration will be key as you partner with Principal Engineers, Data Teams, and various product, platform, and front-end teams. This includes those behind our consumer and trade apps and website. You’ll be at the centre of connecting our efforts across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions. You’ll benefit from having solid Ad Tech experience, ideally in integrating top-tier Ad Tech partners into enterprise systems. You should have full-stack expertise within the PERN stack, particularly in React and a strong background in designing API-driven architectures. You’ll be responsible for architecting technical solutions and breaking down complex problems in to clear, iterative delivery plans. Sound good? Great!
