Requirements
- 5+ years production-grade software development and data integration experience
- Expert Python SQL and object-oriented programming skills in Java or Go
- Deep knowledge of distributed systems data architecture CI/CD Kubernetes and secure enterprise networking
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider AWS Azure or GCP
- Hands-on expertise with scalable data pipelines and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks Redshift or BigQuery
- Proven customer-facing technical delivery experience including pre-sales implementation and escalation management
- Excellent communication skills with executives and technical developers
- Strong engineering judgment and systems thinking

Day to day
- Own end-to-end customer engagements from discovery through production cut-over
- Architect and build production-grade solutions across multi-cloud and cloud data platforms
- Modify Matillion code directly when platform gaps require secure high-quality engineering fixes
- Drive rapid MVP delivery while diagnosing root customer problems and accelerating adoption
- Act as a cross-functional escalation point and mentor for junior engineers
