Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing UX and UI for software products
- Track record of designing simple solutions to complex user problems that drove business impact and customer value
- Experience handling complex projects and prioritizing work across multiple stakeholders
- Know what makes a well-designed product and familiarity with industry best practices
- Ability to collaborate well with front-end engineers, bring detailed design requirements and understand technical tradeoffs
- Expertise in understanding users’ needs and performing good research
- Perfected UX and UI craft, designing intuitive and visually appealing solutions that fit into users’ workflows
- Excellent storyteller, able to communicate clearly and succinctly with the right context and level of detail
- Opinionated but adaptable, open to being influenced as information changes
- Humble, approaching design challenges with curiosity and acknowledging others' expertise while seeking continuous improvement

Day to day
- Design simple, high-quality products that solve complex customer problems
- Partner closely with Product Managers to understand requirements and use cases, designing solutions that meet those needs
- Create multiple design options, iterate on feedback, and ensure high-quality solutions are shipped
- Collaborate with Engineering throughout delivery to manage cost/benefit tradeoffs of different design options
- Create detailed design requirements in Figma or other tools to foster clarity and seamless collaboration
- Seek out end-user feedback to evaluate usability and follow up after the product is released
- Lay the foundation for design at Snappt, prioritizing work effectively across multiple stakeholders
