Requirements

8+ years of software engineering experience with Staff-level scope
Demonstrated experience shipping agentic AI systems to production
Hands-on experience with at least one modern agent framework such as LangGraph
Deep experience with prompt tool design offline and online evaluation scoring rubrics observability and tracing
Strong system design fundamentals including reliability consistency data modeling and pragmatic APIs
Comfortable working in a Ruby on Rails and MySQL environment or able to ramp quickly
Clear communication and strong judgment in high-stakes cross-functional environments
Ability to move between high-level architecture and hands-on coding

Day to day

Own the architecture and implementation of production agentic AI systems for payments workflows
Design shared agent platforms, frameworks, tool schemas, and integration patterns across voice and chat experiences
Build safe, compliant, and observable agents that can handle regulated money-movement tasks with strong guardrails
Define how models, RAG, tools, and deterministic logic are combined to balance cost latency accuracy and risk
Operate a closed-loop lifecycle for testing evaluation rollout monitoring and continuous improvement of non-deterministic systems
