Requirements
- 8+ years of professional work experience
- Proven experience optimizing AI systems using machine learning and systems techniques
- Experience and passion for generative AI especially agents and coding
- Deep appreciation for using AI to improve quality not just quantity
- Fluency in multiple programming languages and willingness to learn new ones
- Deep experience with concurrent programming and synchronization primitives
- Experience designing APIs and writing documentation for public libraries or modules
- Strong technical communication skills in English
- BS or MS in Computer Science or closely related field or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- Open source contributor
- Distributed systems background
- Machine learning systems experience
- Graduate degree in CS
- Temporal familiarity
Day to day
- Lead agent optimization efforts to help users build faster higher-quality AI agents
- Design and build trustworthy agentic coding systems that balance token spend response time and result quality
- Own new features end to end while collaborating across teams on reliability developer experience documentation and community support
