Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 7+ years professional software engineering experience
- Experience scaling integration systems
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB or Redis
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of design patterns and software engineering best practices
- Experience through planning launching and refactoring phases of code
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated responsible individual who exceeds expectations
- Interest in working at a startup and scaling with the company
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related technical field required
- Master's degree preferred

Day to day
- Design and maintain scalable backend services APIs and databases that support Kiddom’s core education platform.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers product managers and stakeholders to ship reliable high-quality features and improve system performance.
- Troubleshoot production issues review code mentor junior engineers and support customers during onboarding and issue resolution.
