Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong language-agnostic engineering fundamentals
  • Expertise in computer systems including threading multiprocessing concurrency async networking and IPC
  • Experience with containerization container orchestration Kubernetes scheduling networked filesystems resource allocation distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Experience building highly available fault-tolerant systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • U.S. person or eligible for export-controlled access

Day to day

  • Co-design and implement the backend architecture of molab for high availability and low latency.
  • Build systems for rapid notebook kernel spin-up and spin-down plus efficient frontend-backend communication.
  • Design and operate infrastructure on specialized Kubernetes-based clusters while integrating CoreWeave object storage and maintaining high GPU utilization.
  • Solve stability fraud and abuse and fault tolerance challenges in a fast-growing cloud notebook platform.
