Who you are

• 7+ years in building scalable distributed systems
• Experience with OOP languages and one scripting language
• Agile methodology experience
• Complex SQL query writing skills (PostgreSQL a plus)
• API framework experience (Spring Boot)
• Big data infrastructure experience (Hbase, RDBMS, Redshift)
• Database optimization techniques
• Public cloud hosting experience (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with modern build tools
• Amazon Web Services experience preferred
• Experience with scheduling services (Airflow, Oozie)
• ETL and data modeling experience
• Developing prototypes and proof-of-concept systems
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills
• Prior technical leadership or mentorship experience
