Requirements
- 5+ years building highly scalable and reliable services in Java or similar language
- Experience with Kubernetes Helm cloud providers such as AWS or related technologies
- Experience using relational and/or OLAP databases
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Nice to have
- Apache Druid experience
- Open source contributor
- Kafka experience
- Flink experience
Day to day
- Build and maintain micro-services and backend components in modern Java
- Develop and enhance advanced features within Apache Druid
- Lead design and development of major cross-team initiatives and work closely with PM UX frontend and backend partners
- Participate in production on-call rotation and help resolve issues quickly and reliably
