Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of features quality or system-level initiatives
  • Strong backend development experience with Ruby Node.js or similar
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs service contracts and software design principles
  • Experience working across backend services APIs and production systems
  • Experience designing and maintaining automated tests across unit integration and end-to-end levels
  • Familiarity with modern testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
  • Strong ownership of code quality debugging and testing strategy balancing coverage reliability and execution time
  • Experience building and operating services in AWS or similar cloud environments
  • Good understanding of cloud-native and distributed systems including microservices scalability and resilience
  • Experience with CI/CD production debugging observability tools such as Datadog and incident response
  • Willingness to participate in a mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Experience responding to production incidents and contributing to reliability improvements and postmortems
  • Experience using or strong interest in AI-powered development tools
  • Ability to review and validate AI-generated code and suggestions

  • Design and evolve scalable test automation across services and teams
