Requirements
- 5+ years building and operating scalable distributed systems in production
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in Python and system-level programming fundamentals

- Experience building and deploying distributed systems on major cloud platforms
- Experience with data orchestration pipelines and ETL mechanisms

Day to day
- Architect and build scalable distributed backend systems that power autonomous vehicle mapping at national scale
- Design and evolve data pipelines and microservices for ingestion transformation storage and release of map data
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives mentor engineers and drive system-level design reviews while ensuring reliability performance and code quality
