Who you are

• A minimum of 2 years of professional writing experience preferably within the media or music industry
• Experience using WordPress is preferred
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple deadlines
• Strong understanding of the music industry from new unsigned indie albums to classic rock icons
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail
• A distinctive voice that can adapt to Far Out’s tone

• Write daily articles across a variety of formats including news reviews and features
• Provide thoughtful and well-researched content that resonates with our diverse audience

• Collaborate with editors other writers and the wider team to develop and refine ideas
• Maintain our unique voice in film speaking to subjects including world music new music classic rock punk and much more
