Requirements
- Experience supporting refugees into employment
- Understanding challenges faced by unemployed, non-English speakers
- Fluency in Arabic, Dari/Pashto/Farsi or Tigrinya
- Experience in advice and guidance, supervising caseload
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Ability to work remotely with confidence
- Cross-cultural sensitivity
- Business-level English
Nice to have
- Experience in delivering online workshops
- Experience planning creative online classroom activities
- Understanding barriers faced by women refugees in the UK
- Professional teaching qualification
Day to day
- Provide remote employment support to refugee clients across the UK
- Prepare clients for competitive employment to achieve training and employment objectives
- Work to performance targets based on client outcomes like training completion, voluntary work placements and sustained paid employment
