Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in healthcare or healthcare IT
- At least 3 years remote supervisor or manager experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
- Experience with payor portals required
- Experience with Epic EHR required
- Background in revenue cycle management including coding charge capture eligibility verification claims and A/R
- Knowledge of ICD-10 CPT and/or HCPCS coding systems and CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms
- Understanding of Medicare Medicaid HIPAA and related billing regulations
- Strong research root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to create analyze and explain complex reports
- Excellent written verbal and listening communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed

Day to day
- Oversee daily billing collections and cash posting activities to improve revenue cycle performance and financial health.
- Lead and coach a remote team of billers while coordinating with operations and cross-functional partners to resolve claims issues and maximize reimbursement.
- Build stakeholder relationships, research workflow problems, and drive timely resolution of technical and client-facing billing challenges.
