  • 3 to 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production systems
  • Fluency in C# / .NET for back-end services
  • Working proficiency in React with TypeScript preferred
  • Strong debugging instincts in distributed systems
  • Foundational SQL knowledge and hands-on query development
  • Experience with observability or logging tools such as Datadog or Elasticsearch/Kibana
  • Ability to read and triage API logs and HTTP traffic
  • Excellent written communication for non-engineering stakeholders
  • Bias toward shipping fixes not just diagnosing issues
  • Comfortable with remote work and Slack-heavy async communication

Day to day

  • Own complex trader-impacting escalations from reproduction through resolution within the engineering team

  • Lead investigations across distributed systems database state race conditions and integration failures then improve observability and diagnostics
  • Participate in on-call incident response stabilize production issues and communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout resolution
