Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in a leading tech AI startup or scale up
- Proven experience managing and leading an internationally distributed engineering team
- Ability to manage up handle conflicting priorities and drive alignment in fast moving multi stakeholder environments
- Track record of delivering individual technical results while developing others
- Experience driving software engineering productivity with AI tooling
- Experience with Python or Golang
- Cloud infrastructure as code experience with AWS Azure or GCP using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Strong Docker experience
- Experience designing complex systems for data at scale
- Strong attention to quality observability and security practices
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Ability to work cross functionally with non engineering stakeholders and explain technical trade offs clearly

Day to day
- Lead the design implementation and maintenance of cloud-based platform services across AWS Azure and GCP
- Build and operate reliable systems that support complex biomedical research data processing and business intelligence use cases throughout their lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with engineers researchers and data scientists to translate needs into scalable secure and compliant platform solutions
- Improve CI CD pipelines observability resilience modularity and development tooling while supporting incident response and on-call operations
