Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Built shipped and operated production systems
- Strong technical foundation for architecture discussions
- Own technical problems end to end
- Experience across multiple customer environments simultaneously

- Strong written communication for documentation and run-books
- Production relational database experience such as PostgreSQL
- TypeScript experience in production ideally Node.js and Python
- Kubernetes and Docker experience
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform Helm or similar
- Cloud platform experience with Azure AWS or GCP
- Observability experience with Grafana or similar
- CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance experience
- Networking fundamentals including firewalls DNS VPNs and access control
- Interest in AI-assisted tooling for deployment testing or operations
- Experience with NHS organisations and life science players
- Hands-on experience with healthcare data
- Startup or fast-paced scale-up experience

Day to day
- Own the technical delivery and ongoing maintenance of customer environments across the full lifecycle
- Deploy and configure software into client environments using Terraform Argo CD Kubernetes and related tooling
- Monitor live systems diagnose issues perform root cause analysis and apply fixes while coordinating with engineers customers and project managers
