Requirements
- 3–10 years combined patent domain and B2B SaaS product management experience
- At least 2 years in a legally or regulatorily sensitive product environment
- One of the following: USPTO registered patent agent JD with patent prosecution or litigation experience or 3+ years hands-on claim charts invalidity contentions FTO analyses or office action responses
- Experience with at least one patent analytics platform such as Patlytics Derwent Innovation Orbit Intelligence PatSnap or Google Patents Advanced
- Technical undergraduate degree preferred
- Direct experience working with patent attorneys Am Law firms or in-house IP teams
- Track record shipping AI-powered features to enterprise legal or IP clients
- Ability to write precise LLM workflow specs for engineers
- Strong client-facing demo and communication skills
- Ability to make technical tradeoff calls on latency accuracy caching freshness context window and cost
- Sharp prioritization instincts in resource-constrained environments

Day to day
- Own the product roadmap for an AI-powered patent intelligence platform and prioritize features by client ROI competitive gaps and feasibility
- Design and maintain LLM workflows prompts tool definitions structured outputs and multi-step agentic patent analysis pipelines
- Serve as the final quality gate for AI-generated legal outputs validate accuracy with clients and drive continuous improvement from feedback and evaluations
- Lead async-first delivery coordinate engineering dependencies manage enterprise client relationships and guide vendor and budget decisions
