Remote Technical Support Developer, Databases Job in United States Airbyte

Who you are

• Computer Science degree or boot camp graduate/self-taught programmer
• 2 years of Data Engineering or Software Engineering experience
• Experience with databases in a software-engineering or DBA capacity
• Proficiency in relational databases, data warehouses, SQL, Java/Kotlin
• Familiarity with data pipelines, unit tests, troubleshooting
• Experience with ERP systems, blob storage, cloud hosting, scripting

What the job involves

• Provide advanced technical assistance and support to customers with complex technical issues around database connector sources and destinations
• Use software and data-engineering skills to debug and assist customers with critical data pipelines
• Work with Layer 2 Cloud and Self Managed support agents to resolve escalated issues promptly and professionally
• Advocate for customers with product and engineering teams to incorporate fixes and enhancements
• Triaging and prioritizing user issues, developing code, altering automation, and creating knowledge bases
