Requirements
- Deep understanding of AWS services and best practices.
- Proven experience with DevOps practices such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong proficiency and familiarity with Linux computing environments.
- Proficiency with Git and experience managing code repositories.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- 3+ years experience in DevOps or software engineering.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Day to day
- Deploy and maintain scalable and reliable high-performance computing environments on AWS.
- Use monitoring and observability tools to identify and respond to incidents impacting platform availability and performance.
- Collaborate with platform engineers and computational scientists to maintain and improve the HPC platform.
- Automate deployment pipelines and improve CI/CD processes using GitLab CI/CD.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
