Who you are

  • 2+ years in technical support or engineering
  • 1+ years at a SaaS startup <50 employees
  • Located in the Pacific Timezone (US or Canada)
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex API structures
  • Comfort with using browser console and debugging tools
  • Empathy with customers
  • Fully functioning workstation and quiet place to work
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Fluency in English



What the job involves

  • Save the day by investigating and resolving issues affecting customer use of Chameleon
  • Troubleshoot within the intricate connections between Chameleon and various applications
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner and build trust through understanding and teaching
  • Act as a detective to efficiently troubleshoot a wide range of issues, including recreating issues on customers' software
  • Use Chrome Developer Tools, review code base, and analyze relevant data to uncover root causes and solutions
  • Represent Chameleon in customer meetings, respond to customer queries, and serve as a technical expert in sales meetings
  • Document bugs and product improvement feedback and work with internal teams to escalate complex issues
  • Contribute to the development of a knowledge base for self-serve troubleshooting
  • Share knowledge and best practices with fellow team members to foster a collaborative environment
