Remote Technical Support Specialist / Systems Engineer Job in Frederick, MD MainSpring, Inc.

Who you are

• 4 years’ IT experience with excellent customer service background
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012 and above including SBS and Business Essentials
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows 8, Windows 10, and Mac OS X
• Knowledge of virtual environments including VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, and AWS
• Administer Microsoft Office365
• Working knowledge of firewall technologies SonicWALL, Ubiquiti, pfSense
• Manage outside vendors to resolve client service requests
• Troubleshoot computer and peripheral hardware issues
• Effective multi-tasking skills for up-tempo work environments
• Adapt and research new ideas with problem analysis and decision-making ability
• Experience in managed service provider environment
• Experience with ConnectWise Automate and Manage a plus

• Responsible for the upkeep, configuration and operation of user computers for internal and client users
• Respond to service requests for managed services department
• Resolve server, desktop, and network issues

• Provide support for VoIP, firewall management, virus/malware cleanup, and help desk support
