Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology Information Systems or related field
  • Excellent IT technical writing and communication skills (English) with proven experience of at least 5 years
  • Practical experience in working with Microsoft Office spreadsheet word processor and visualization tools
  • Practical experience in working with Microsoft Visio
  • Practical experience in working with Microsoft SharePoint to manage document repositories configurations and content
  • Experience in using Enterprise Architecture tools
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise IT infrastructures Microsoft 365 and cloud computing technologies
  • Good knowledge of CIS Security and accreditation processes
  • Former experience in NCIA and knowledge of the NATO/NCI Agency structure and CIS security/accreditation process and procedures (preferable)
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts in standards/product descriptions/manuals and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills in order to work efficiently with internal technical teams and external subcontractors on product and documentation requirements
  • Excellent formal writing skills in English
  • A Certificate of Security Obligation will be required

What the job involves

  • Producing high-quality documentation that is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Working with internal teams and external subcontractors on product and documentation requirements
  • Writing clear and concise requirement design testing installation and accreditation documentation
  • Creating end-user documentation including tutorials manuals troubleshooting guides
  • Editing proofreading and revising/rewriting existing content
  • Maintaining a coherent technical terminology and documentation set in the project
