Requirements
- 5+ years in a writing or lead writing role
- Proven ability to work with developers and write for a developer
- Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
- Experience working with XML, markdown, or HTML
- Familiarity with using and following a style guide
- Experience designing, planning, and delivering content that meets the needs of a technical audience
- Experience working directly with teams of software engineers
Nice to have
- Git knowledge
- GenAI knowledge
- Asana knowledge
- Some experience with web services and related technologies
- Background in machine learning or artificial intelligence
Day to day
- Author and deliver high-quality documentation for customers, with content that is accurate, discoverable, relevant, usable, and well-organized
- Write customer-facing text for consoles and help panes
- Work with other writers, engineers, PMs, and SDMs to learn about and deliver documentation
