Remote Technical Writer Job in United States GHX

Who you are

• Proficient in Help authoring tools (MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, ClickHelp)
• Proficient in Windows applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with source control solutions (MadCap Central, Perforce, SourceSafe)
• Experience with collaboration software (Confluence)
• Proficient in screen-capture technology (SnagIt, MadCap Capture, Snipping Tool)
• Experience with flowcharts or diagrams tool (Lucidchart, Visio)
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or combination of education and equivalent work experience
• 3+ years related experience performing technical writing/editing
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Excellent interviewing skills
• Customer-driven attitude and demeanor
• Proficiency and knowledge of working with multiple systems interfaces
• Ability to quickly synthesize new technology and present it meaningfully
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Able to work in a team with all levels of personnel

Desirables

• eCommerce or web-based application experience
• Healthcare industry, supply chain experience
• Language translation knowledge

What the job involves

• Developing technical and user guides for a SaaS company in the healthcare industry, including online help content, user guides, product release notes, implementation and technical integration guides, data flow/system architecture diagrams, and support decision trees
• Works closely with product managers, system developers, quality assurance engineers, implementation consultants, and integration engineers to understand and create deliverables
• Participates in product development and reviews to ensure software products are easy to use and conducts needs analysis with internal stakeholders to identify teams’ needs
