Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English Communications Technical Writing or related field or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years of technical writing experience in fintech or regulated industries or 7 years of technical writing experience
- Ability to obtain VA Public Trust Clearance
- Strong ability to understand and explain complex technical systems
- Experience writing API documentation and developer-facing content
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe editing tools
- Proficiency in Confluence and SharePoint
- Proficiency in Markdown editors and Git or GitHub or GitLab
- Excellent writing editing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences
- Strong collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Day to day
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation for mortgage and fintech systems, including LOS, POS, and servicing platforms.
- Develop user guides, API documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials that simplify complex information.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, compliance, and business teams to document features, track updates, and ensure regulatory alignment.
