Remote Technical Writer Job in Virginia, United States Zillion Technologies, Inc.

Who you are

• At least seven years' experience producing technical documentation for multiple platforms according to SDLCs, including DevOps, Agile, Lean, Iterative, or Waterfall
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong proofreading and editing skills
• Proficiency with video editing and production software such as Camtasia
• Ability to conduct technical research as needed to produce content
• General desktop support experience, including resolving problems with software, hardware, configurations, etc.
• Translate complex concepts into usable, audience-appropriate text and graphics
• Produce and apply style guides and design guidelines to ensure consistent presentation

What the job involves

• Create and edit various training, promotional, professional, and technical content such as training videos, pamphlets, articles, executive summaries, and user guides
• Prepare and edit technical guidance including policies, best practices, manuals, and developer tutorials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and multiple technical contributors to produce clear and consistent content
