Who you are

  • Recognised financial qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) desirable
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in charity sector
  • Experience in charity finance, fundraising, and pension schemes advantageous
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Knowledge of charity accounting principles
  • Understanding of financial governance and compliance
  • Commitment to charity's mission and values
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity
  • Collaborative and supportive attitude
  • Ability to make challenging recommendations

Desirables

  • Experience in charity finance
  • Fundraising experience
  • Pension schemes experience



What the job involves

  • Oversee charity’s finances, ensuring sustainability
  • Monitor and report financial performance to the Board
  • Manage annual budgeting and provide financial insights
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices
  • Support Board with financial guidance and risk management
  • Engage with stakeholders on financial matters
