Requirements
- 8+ years of UI/UX design development experience including 5+ years in Human-Centered Design for enterprise or government applications
- Strong understanding of Agile or SAFe delivery and iterative design integration
- Experience with usability testing methodologies such as heuristic evaluations card sorting and A/B testing
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma Sketch Storybook Axure or Miro
- Familiarity with HTML5 CSS3 and responsive UI behavior
- Strong experience with Sass or other CSS preprocessors
- Experience designing for federal systems with knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG compliance
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI Design or related field
- 10+ years of general experience in information systems and 8+ years of specialized experience

Day to day
- Bridge UX research and high-fidelity prototypes into intuitive accessible user experiences and production-ready front-end code.
- Collaborate in Agile teams with product owners developers architects and HCD specialists to translate insights into design specifications and responsive implementations.
- Evaluate and improve UI consistency usability and compliance with Section 508 WCAG and federal digital service standards across AWS-based applications.
