Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Enrolled or recently completed a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a relevant technical field
- Coding experience in Python, Julia, SQL, and MATLAB preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Must upload school transcripts during application process
- If selected, a letter of recommendation is required
- Must meet educational requirements before start date
Nice to have
- Coursework in power or energy systems
- Domain knowledge of bulk or distribution power system modeling
- Experience with power system tools
- Collaborative software development and experience with Git
- Large-scale data analysis
Day to day
- Interns will join the Grid Planning and Analysis Center for various terms
- Engage in different research projects and contribute based on interests and skillsets
- Work includes developing models, analyzing grid system data, and contributing to reports and technical papers
- Develop visualizations to communicate research results
