Requirements
- Strong Unreal Engine gameplay engineering in C++ and Blueprint
- Ability to judge when to use C++ versus Blueprint
- Experience with Unreal replication and debugging desync in networked gameplay
- Understanding of UMG in XR or why flat 2D menus fail in-headset
- Experience designing data-driven systems that content teams can extend safely
- Save and load plus backend persistence experience
- Performance instincts on constrained hardware

Day to day
- Build the avatar customization experience in XR using a diegetic hand-controlled interface that first-time players can use without guidance
- Architect and own avatar and customization pipelines in Unreal Engine including modular characters cosmetics and full-body presence
- Implement persistence and multiplayer replication so avatar state remains consistent across visits and across sessions
- Profile optimize and build internal tooling that empowers designers to tune content safely on constrained hardware
