Requirements
- 5+ years combining product design and front end engineering
- Strong design fundamentals including user research interaction design visual hierarchy typography and craft
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Experience building or contributing to design systems in production
- Experience designing complex data dense workflows
- Figma fluency and comfort moving between design and code
- Comfort using AI coding tools like Claude Code
- Experience with low code platforms like Retool or Superblocks
- Empathy for end users and strong advocacy instincts

Day to day
- Own the end-to-end user experience across customer facing products internal tools and the shared design system
- Conduct user research map workflows create wireframes build prototypes and ship production interfaces
- Design and build intuitive data dense tools that reduce friction prevent errors and improve daily operations
- Partner closely with product engineering and business stakeholders to shape interaction patterns information architecture and visual design
