USER INTERFACE DEVELOPER

Seeking an experienced User Interface Developer for a healthcare technology team (startup) specializing in medical devices and health management systems. The User Interface Developer will be responsible for designing and developing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with the UX designers and software engineers to create seamless user experiences that meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients. This role requires a strong understanding of front-end development, UI design principles, and experience in healthcare technology.

Hourly Commitment: 10 to 15 hours per week

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive web and mobile interfaces for healthcare applications. Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Implement and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across all platforms. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine and improve interfaces. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development and UI design. Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure a seamless user experience. Document development processes, coding standards, and best practices. 

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Strong understanding of UI design principles, including accessibility and usability. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the healthcare technology industry.
