Requirements

  • 5+ years designing and building modern SaaS applications
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX design and front-end implementation
  • Expertise with Figma and modern prototyping tools
  • Experience building interfaces using React TypeScript or similar front-end frameworks
  • Strong understanding of interaction design usability and accessibility
  • Ability to rapidly move from concept to prototype
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfort in a fast-moving startup environment

Day to day

  • Own end-to-end UX design and rapid prototyping for new product initiatives from concept through implementation-ready design
  • Build interactive near-production-quality prototypes using React TypeScript or similar frameworks to validate ideas before full engineering investment
  • Partner with Engineering to validate technical feasibility early and reduce handoff friction
  • Help establish and evolve reusable UI patterns components and Reality Defender's broader design system
  • Advocate for usability accessibility and thoughtful interaction design across the platform
  • Work alongside Product Managers to define customer experiences before development begins
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment by making complex ideas tangible through prototypes and visual storytelling
