Who you are
Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in human factors, psychology, communications, or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Experience moderating and designing task-based usability studies and conducting in-depth contextual customer interviews and surveys
Ability to lead stakeholder interviews, secondary research, and design-thinking workshops
Experience with design research methods including research design, journey mapping, design workshops, insight distillation, storytelling, and developing principles and concepts aligned with an ideal customer journey
Skilled in identifying customer, cultural, and competitive insights and writing research and creative briefs
Experience with UX and technical aspects of eCommerce platforms
Familiarity with various digital/mobile research tools, software, and equipment such as UserTesting, dScout, Miro

What the job involves
Conduct research related to various aspects of the Signet user experience
Support and grow into leading both generative and evaluative user research and usability studies
Develop research protocols, distill insights, and make recommendations with minimal supervision
Support multiple projects from defining challenges to deriving insights and conducting usability testing
