Purpose of Role The ViewPoint Product Owner at Vistra will serve as the strategic link between technology and the wider business, overseeing and optimizing the ViewPoint system landscape within Vistra. The role involves managing the product roadmap, prioritizing development backlogs, and ensuring that the system aligns with Vistra's strategic vision and operational needs. This position is both internal & external facing, it focuses on enhancing the system's functionality, efficiency, and user adoption across the organization and externally manage the vendor product management relationship. The Operations Technology team acts as the operations business owner for key Service Delivery applications across Corporate & Fund Services. Corporate Services domain areas include Entity Management, Document Management Systems (DMS), Client KYC and Screening, Client Regulatory Filings, Client Accounting and Payments and Productivity apps such as Workflow Management. We translate commercial and market business requirements into actionable needs and executable application roadmaps. The team is responsible for executing the Service Delivery application strategy, deploying enhancements, and application implementation. Scope  Lead the management and optimization of the ViewPoint application (all core components) & supporting team within Vistra. Collaborate with key stakeholders to align the system's capabilities with business objectives. Effectively manage dependencies with our domain areas in the team. End to end SDLC cycle for ViewPoint application including DevOps and Release Management.  Key responsibilities  Product Roadmap: Develop, maintain and execute the ViewPoint roadmap in line with Vistra's strategic vision. Backlog Management: Prioritize the development backlog and oversee the release of system improvements. Rationalisation of ViewPoint landscape including data migration Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements. System Optimization: Identify areas for improvement and implement policies and procedures to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness. Change Management: Drive continuous improvements by coordinating with system and business application stakeholders. Communication: Efficiently communicate the product roadmap and system updates to senior management and the wider business. Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest industry developments and functionalities within the entity management component.  Relevant Experience and Skills  Direct ViewPoint product expertise: Strong functional, technical, and strategic awareness of Entity Management, Practice Manager and Document management. Client Service Knowledge: Specific knowledge of the entity management client service offering, products, operational processes, and controls. Technical Familiarity: Familiar with available technologies relevant to the component(s), direct experience of ViewPoint application. Change Management: Knowledge of change management controls operating within a multinational and matrixed financial services group. Team Management: Proven experience in managing a team, with the ability to mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and capabilities. Leadership: Demonstrable experience in leadership with an ability to display diplomacy and good judgment. Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to adapt language and communication style to suit the intended recipient. Planning and Organization: Effective planning and organizational skills to manage competing priorities. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good relationships with all levels of management and staff. Business Analysis: Advanced business analysis skills to understand business needs. Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute meaningfully to solution design, ensuring due regard to the business perspective.  Essential Qualifications  Leadership Experience: Leadership experience working with ViewPoint and DevOps teams. Component Understanding: A strong understanding of the clients, services, processes, and data associated with the relevant component(s) of ViewPoint. Project Experience: Experience with delivery of technical/operational improvement projects and initiatives. Development Practices: Familiarity with standard development practices and processes. Global Experience: Experience of working with global technical teams and applications in a services-based organization. Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and oral English.  Education and Professional Qualifications  Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field or comparable working experience. Advanced degrees or certifications in project management or related fields are a plus.
