Up-to-date HR knowledge and experience and ability to share this with other Trustees
Ability to keep an active overview of all policies pertaining to staffing
Strategic experience
Having an interest in our cause is crucial for all Trustees
You will be committed to work we do but do not need to be knowledgeable as we will induct in this area

All trustees play a vital role in the organisation and help to ensure that we continue to provide support to people who are homeless in Leicester
The HR trustee will ensure the highest standards of governance relating to employee relations, recruitment, retention, reward and recognition as well as staff training and development
You will also advise the charity in respect of HR matters, ensuring that the charity follows best practice and all regulatory/legal requirements are met
