Remote Volunteer Software Engineer Job in London, UK Roots Academy

Who you are

• Proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework
• Understanding of Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and fix issues
• Knowledge of Android and Apple mobile app testing and debugging
• Proficiency in Git for version control
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred

What the job involves

• Collaborate to support the design, development, and maintenance of Roots Academy's App using the Flutter framework
• Play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge mobile applications that facilitate Islamic learning and make a meaningful impact on users
• Ensure performance, scalability, and responsiveness of mobile apps
