Requirements
- Proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework
- Understanding of Firebase services such as Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and fix issues
- Knowledge of Android and Apple mobile app testing and debugging
- Proficiency in Git for version control
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
Day to day
- Collaborate to support the design, development, and maintenance of Roots Academy's App using the Flutter framework
- Play a crucial part in developing cutting-edge mobile applications that facilitate Islamic learning and make a meaningful impact on users
- Ensure performance, scalability, and responsiveness of mobile apps
Hiring process
- Commit 5-7 hours per week to the role
- Attend a 1-hour weekly meeting with the finance lead
